Trott a standout for Auburn in two-a-days

If you're picking an offensive MVP through the first two weeks of Auburn's practice, one of the players that would have to get a lot of consideration is tight end Tommy Trott.

The sophomore has been a consistent standout in team drills, seemingly making at least one big play every day.

"He's had a great camp," said tight ends coach Steve Ensminger. "He's really done a great job of running routes and catching the football and is probably our leading receiver through the first five or six days."

As for Trott, he's pleased with the improvement he's made this fall but still sees plenty of room for improvement.

"I feel like I've come along," said Trott. "I feel good about my camp but not great. I wish I had made a few more plays, something that stands out, but that's something I'll keep working on."
