Five-star center a stellar Irish target

Whatever program finishes on the receiving end of Tyler Zeller's commitment will land one of the nation's top prospects. Zeller, who lists Notre Dame, North Carolina, Purdue and Indiana as his final four choices, ranks as the country's No. 22 overall prospect on Rivals.com. Prep Stars slots the Washington, Ind., product at No. 10.

While it's hard to differentiate between those slim margins in the rankings, there's no doubt that Zeller sits among the nation's elite. Exactly where he fits into that mix rests in the eye of the beholder, like judging the finalists in the Miss America pageant. Whether it's the Irish, Tar Heels, Boilermakers or Hoosiers for Zeller, all four will willingly wait on the 6-foot-11, 215-pound athlete to make a decision. Notre Dame may own an edge with junior Luke Zeller already part of Mike Brey's squad.

What kind of talent does the younger Zeller bring to the court? For starters, he's nearly as impressive away from the hardwood as he is on it.
