Each week Sooner staff writer Matt Hensley, and associate editor Josh McCuistion will take a look around the Big 12 and take picks on just how they see things playing out with Oklahoma's conference foes. Matt Hensley: Little is known about the Jayhawks quarterback Todd Reesing. The Jayhawks will definitely have a different look to them with a young running back and a more vertical offensive philosophy than years past. Aqib Talib is one of the top defensive players in the country and if the Jayhawks want to score a victory he's going to have to prove it. I believe Central Michigan will give the Jayhawks a tough fight and I would not be shocked if this was an upset, but I think a strong defensive backfield will give Kansas the victory.

Josh McCuistion: I'm betting on a conference here…wait is this the Iowa State game we're talking about? At any rate, I trust Mark Mangino to get the most out of his team and I'm betting his 'most' is more than what Central Michigan has to offer. However, there is no question that this is a tough ask of a Kansas team with a lot of questions defensively.
