Johnson comments on loss to Alabama
Vanderbilt dropped a 24-10 decision to Alabama on Saturday afternoon at Dudley Field. The Commodores were out-gained 371 to 232, trailed 16-3 at the half, and never really got in any kind of groove against the Crimson Tide. Afterwards, Coach Bobby Johnson offered his comments on the Commodores' dismal day.
Vanderbilt's performance on Saturday afternoon, to say the least, was puzzling for a number of reasons. The experienced and normally-disciplined Commodores missed tackles, got penalties at the most inopportune times and generally played poor football throughout the day.
