GoPowercat Q&A: Jordy Nelson

Traditionally, Kansas State receiver Jordy Nelson is pretty reserved, going about his business on the field and leaving others to do the talking. While the Kansas native usually steers the conversation elsewhere when asked to talk about himself or his personal accomplishments, he let his guard down on Monday for an exclusive interview with GoPowercat.com about football, married life and dance competitions.

Welcome back to the Top 25. How does it feel to be ranked?
It's good. I think it's great for the university's recruiting. We will be mentioned more on TV and hopefully get a lot more TV games, but that's not what we're worried about right now.

How big was that win for you?
Beating a team like that is always big, but it's just another win.

Ok, the win was nice, but so was Ron Prince's dance during James Johnson's kickoff return touchdown. Did you see that?
I did. We all saw it. We have seen other coaches do that as well. It lets you know that they are enjoying the game as much as we are. Those things make football fun.
