Week 6 top players

Week 6 of the high school football season is in the books. Here is a look at the top performers from around the country who list interest in Florida on their Rivals.com database page.

Tampa Plant quarterback Aaron Murray: The junior continued a stellar season this weekend in Plant's 64-7 win over Blake. Murray threw five of his six touchdown passes in the first half and rushed for another score in a game that was completed Saturday morning after it was postponed at halftime Friday because of bad weather. Murray, a 6-foot, 198-pound recruit, lists offers from Ole Miss, Oregon State and South Florida.

Glades Central wide receiver Travis Benjamin: The 5-foot-11 speedster caught four passes for 144 yards and two touchdowns to help lead Glades Central past Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons, 32-3. Not much has changed in his recruiting. Florida, Miami, Florida State, Georgia, LSU and Ohio State are all in the mix.
