Maryland has had an off-week to heal up and prepare for the second half of the season. Awaiting the Terps are six consecutive conference games, led off by a homecoming showdown with rival Virginia.
The annual matchup with the Cavs never lacks for intensity or intrigue, and with Virginia leading the Coastal Division and riding a six-game winning streak there will be plenty of both on Saturday.
The Series: Maryland leads 41-28-2 and has won the last two, including last year's 28-26 win.
What You Need To Know About Virginia
The Cavaliers have won six consecutive games, their longest streak since 2002 and the sixth longest in the nation at the moment. Virginia hasn't earned a lot of style points in victory - four of the six wins are by five points or less - but as the Terps proved last season, only the result matters. The Cavs will arrive in Byrd Stadium riding a wave of confidence.
