Washington Preview: Offense
By now it is no secret that Washington's offense is completely based off of the play of 6-foot-3, 225-pound sophomore quarterback Jake Locker.
If Locker could play receiver he would probably lead Washington at that position, but instead he is relegated to being the leading passer and rusher. In fact, Locker has been in on 17 of the team's 23 total touchdowns this season.
Thus far, he has thrown for 1,193 yards with 11 touchdowns and nine interceptions. The one knock on Locker as a quarterback is that his accuracy is not there yet as evidenced by his 47 percent completion percentage.
However, he certainly has enough arm strength to make difficult plays and the general thought is that his accuracy will eventually come around with some talent around him.
