Johnson stuck on the sidelines

Ethan Johnson was supposed to be counting sacks. Instead he's been forced to tally rehab sessions.

That's hardly what the 6-foot-4, 266-pound defensive lineman envisioned when his senior season kicked off in early September as Lincoln traveled to Tigard. Johnson worked inside and out in that game, forcing two fumbles and notching one quarterback takedown. Those might be the only stats he posts this year.

Johnson was the victim of multiple high-low blocks against Tigard, an illegal technique that ravaged the four-star prospect.
