Robinson gives LSU visit perfect 10
Linebacker Marcus Robinson gave a verbal commitment to Miami back in July but recently things have started to open up. He took an official visit to LSU this weekend. Where does he stand on things now?
The 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect from Homestead, Florida has changed his status a lot in recent weeks. In late October he said that his verbal to Miami was strong, but that he was considering Florida as well. Just last week Robinson said he was down to Miami and LSU. His thought process seems to have evolved after his trip to LSU.
"It was great," said Robinson, speaking of his official visit to LSU this weekend. "I had a real good time. I got a chance to check out the academics and lot of other little things I didn't know about before. I got a chance to talk to the coaches too. I think I talked to just about all of them."
Robinson said he would give the visit a perfect 10 on a scale of 1-10. So is he still a soft verbal to Miami?
"No, I'm open now," he said. "I didn't think about committing at LSU. I was just planning on taking my time. I know I'm going to take officials to USC and Florida but I don't know the dates yet. After I take those I'll make my decision. It's between LSU, USC, Florida and Miami right now."
