Brown keeps an eye on Missouri

Cedar Hill (TX) CB Greg Brown and his Longhorn teammates had one goal coming into this season, another state championship. Going into this weekend's first round of the playoffs, Brown said that goal was still firmly in sight.

"We've bounced back from a few losses this year," said Brown. "We're in the playoffs, so we're still in line to get another title. It's been good for me. I feel like my technique is getting better and better every week. I've got a lot to work on still, but things are getting better."

Brown said that things on the field have helped him keep focus in recruiting, mostly because he knew that the better his senior year went, the more exposure he could bring to himself. With the season winding down, he said a few teams remained at the top of his list.

"It's been a little slower in recruitihg since I've been focusing on my senior season," said Brown. "I've been talking with Arkansas, Missouri, Kansas State, Kansas, Virginia, and Boise State. I've been working with the coaches on when we could schedule visits once the season is over. I'll talk to Missouri a lot about getting there and seeing what's around town and how the campus looks. I think we're going to wait until after the season to set a visit to Missouri, but I'd really like to get up there soon."
