Recruiting still open for Hall
The past month has been quite the adventure for Beaumont (TX) Central ATH Derrick Hall. Since the end of the season, Hall has kept plenty busy with the other activities that he's involved with at Central.
Since the end of the season, Hall has been open to schools in recruiting, although it has come down to four schools at the top. He said that he had especially gotten to know one coach quite well.
With the end of the year dead period going on, Hall said that he would have to put things on hold for a little until he could talk more with coaches. He said that one thing he had to get finalized soon after they could talk again were his visits. Hall added that it was not only his visit to the campus, but also the visits from the coaches themselves.
In the mean time, Hall said that he was excited to see one of his teams playing so close to him. Whether he would be able to watch that team up close might be a different story, but he hoped to be able to talk with someone he has become good friends with over the last months, even if he can't see him play in person.
The last few weeks have been a whirlwind in recruiting for Hall, but he said that he hopes that he will be able to figure out where people are on his list soon. While he remains committed, Hall said he will have answers soon.
When he first committed, Hall made his decision nearly a year before signing day. Now, with little over a month left in recruiting, Hall said that his decision would come much closer to his final day of recruiting.
