Pratt taking his time

Athlete Dexter Pratt is one of the most highly sought-after prospects in the Lone Star State's junior class and he already has an assortment of offers to choose from. The 6-foot-2, 220-pound prospect from Navasota, Texas looks the part of a big-time college football player and he has the game to back it up.

Pratt runs the 40-yard dash in 4.48 seconds - excellent speed for a young man of his build. He currently boasts offers from LSU, Ole Miss, Texas, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Nebraska, Houston, Baylor and TCU.

As a junior for Navasota he carried a big load with 218 carries for 2,054 yards and 20 touchdowns. He also showcased his ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, snagging 12 passes for 365 yards and four scores.

He spoke with on Wednesday night.

"I actually just got done talking to my parents about going to spring practices but I don't know anything yet. Everybody has invited me," Pratt laughed.
