Hogs hold long scrimmage

Arkansas spent over three hours on the practice field on Friday including a scrimmage with an estimated 180 plays.

Arkansas offensive coordinator Paul Petrino felt the team got some things accomplished though the offense did suffer some key injuries. Quarterback Ryan Mallett injured his thumb when he apparently hit a helmet while attempting a pass and running back Michael Smith was injured and only played the first play of the scrimmage. Reserve offensive guard Kareem Crowell also was injured late in the scrimmage. Come inside for more.
