UCLA lands fifth

The Bruins landed one of the fastest rising prospects on the west coast today. He committed before the scrimmage. The Bruins land a two sport star who has a very high ceiling. He's a fast, physical corner and they are always at a premium. This gives the Bruins two top-flight corners for the class of 2009.

The corner in question is Sheldon Price (6-1, 160, 4.56) from La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat. He joins his high school teammate Isaiah Bowens with the Bruins.

"Coach Rick Neuheisel took me aside and he told me that he wanted me to be a Bruin," Price said. "My grandparents, my dad and mom were UCLA alums. I've always grown up going to UCLA games and I always felt I should be there so I committed.
