Focus is key as Beavers prepare for the season

With the feel of a typical autumn day in Corvallis, the Oregon State football fought off a moderate rain coming down and continued to prepare for next week. Playing today in the confines of Reser Stadium, the Beavers looked sloppy at times, but remained on task with the coaching staff making sure they were practicing hard and staying focused.

The backup defense got an opportunity to play the first team offense and vice versa, with mixed results as expected. Goal line plays were worked on, and the depth chart was constantly changing with guys persevering to earn significant playing time. Trying to stay dry, here is what I saw from the covered section of the place formerly known as Parker Stadium on Tuesday afternoon:
