Saturday at the Bowl - Quick hits

UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel had an impromptu teleconference moments ago to fill in the media how the scrimmage went out at the Rose Bowl. The Bruins had a good day at the bowl because no one was hurt and Neuheisel mentioned that he felt better after today's practice going into the weekend.

The scrimmage broke down this way the ones played the twos and threes went against the threes. They also had some live special teams work, plus the coaching staff was able to used to the communications equipment so all in all it was a good dress rehearsal.

Kevin Craft bounced back from a less than stellar day hitting on two thirds of his passes without an interception. This is very good news because, Craft has had the penchant for throwing picks during training camp so if the light is beginning to turn on for him this is good news for Bruin fans.

Neuheisel is writing off Craft's yesterday's performance as a bad day.
