In any big-time college football matchup both teams look for any advantage no matter how big or small.
One of the oldest traditions in football, whether high school, college or pro, is the use of bulletin board material. And as with most schools, Florida State has an actual bulletin board located just outside the locker room that is full of photos and press clippings. The goal of course is that something on the board might serve to inspire the players.
Despite their widespread use, both head coach Bobby Bowden and offensive coordinator Jimbo Fisher played down the importance of using billboard material to motivate the team.
