Does Beanie feel good enough to go?
This past Saturday night while the world was learning about Terrelle Pryor and what he is capable of doing the world also go a glimpse into what Chris Wells is able to do, again at less than 100-percent.
It was not too long ago that fans and pundits alike thought that Wells might be done for the season after a painful injury during the third quarter of the Youngstown State season opener. Beanie proved everybody wrong by making his return against Minnesota and looked good in his first action.
Fast forward to this past weekend and Beanie looked more than fine in racking up 168 yards on 22 carries against a stout Wisconsin run defense. Wells has been accustomed to playing with pain but it only makes people wonder what a 100-percent Beanie would be like.
Now Wells is ready to focus on the next test, a Purdue team that has struggled against the run. But for Wells he is not taking anything for granted is ready for another big game for the whole world to see.
We caught up with Wells on Tuesday evening to ask him about his toe, if he will be ready to go and plenty of other questions surrounding the upcoming game. Check it out...
