Georgia offers talented 2010 athlete

Georgia is always in the need for playmakers and they have jumped on a versatile out-of-state athlete early. The Bulldogs surprised the Trovon Reed recently and they are currently one of the three schools he has offers from.

"I have offers from Georgia, Arkansas, and Ole Miss," said Reed. "I was really surprised by all of the offers because none of those schools had really been sending me letters."

The offers were a pleasant surprise for the 2010 athlete out of Thibodaux (LA) after he had to evacuate because of Hurricane Gustav not too long ago. When he got back to school two weeks after Gustav passed through, he received the news.

"My coach said he had some good news for me and gave me the letters. We had been out of school because of the storm, so I had not seen anything. As soon as I got back, I got the offers and it felt great."

The University of Georgia has great talent in their state, so them offering the 6-foot-0, 172 pound athlete out of Louisiana this early means they are serious about him. Reed now may be serious about researching the UGA program a little more.
