A special day for Austin Long
October 20, 2009 will be a day Georgia commitment Austin Long remembers for a long time. Not only him, but his family and friends too.
Long was named an Army All-American on Monday and we were there to cover the prestigious event.
The event was held at Briarcrest Christian Academy in Eads, Tn. at it kicked off at 9:20am CT.
The entire ceremony lasted just over 10 minutes with the introduction, the official invite given by a soldier in the Army, a speech by Long, and then a few final comments.

One on One with the All-American
The 6-foot-5, 270 pound offensive tackle will be representing Briarcrest Christian and Georgia while in San Antonio, Texas from December 28-January 3.
He will be playing on the East squad and you will be able to watch that game live on NBC at 1pm ET on January 3, 2009.
Rivals will be there to cover the event in full with live practice updates, photo galleries, notebooks, interviews, AMP features, and more.
