Auburn offense falters in second half

For Auburn's offense, the first half against West Virginia Thursday night was nearly perfect.

The second half was an entirely different story.

The Tigers racked up 181 yards of total offense in the first 30 minutes of the game. They lined up under center in the I-formation and ran the football. They mixed in a little spread.

The result was 17 points, 7-of-10 third-down conversions, a school-record 20-play drive, possession of the ball for more than 21 minutes, controlling the clock and the game.
