Defense hoping to get swagger back

Don't tell Antonio Coleman he leads the SEC with 10.5 tackles-for-loss and six sacks. He doesn't want to hear it.

"It means nothing to me," said Coleman. "I just get out there and try to make as many plays as I can. Like I told you before, that's null and void to me. Look at our season. We're 4-4. I couldn't care if I'm last right now.

"The stats and all that really has nothing to do with me and what I'm all about. I really don't care."

What Coleman cares about is returning Auburn to where he thinks it belongs -- a top SEC program with one of the nation's top defenses. But the 2008 Tigers haven't played up to his standards with three straight losses and a defense that's given up 59 points and 861 yards the last two games.

"We need to get our swagger back," Coleman said. "There's only one word that you can use. Just get our swagger back. Hopefully we'll get that Saturday."
