Stew presents 'wish list' to press

MORGANTOWN--Posed with four wishes, Bill Stewart made these known on Tuesday.

In his regularly scheduled press conference, the West Virginia coach said he was 1) hoping for health to return to certain key players; 2) remedy the woes of the nation's worst kickoff team; 3) work on short yardage situations offensively and defensively; and, 4), with the latter, prime the defense to get off the field more quickly.

The Mountaineers (6-3 overall, 3-1 Big East Conference) no longer have control of the league championship in their own hands. Instead, they must hope for someone to beat Cincinnati (3-1), which edged them 26-23 in overtime last Thursday in one of UC's four remaining Big East games. Pitt, also, is 3-1 conference-wise.
