2010 QB standout has three offers

Tonight at Westlake (Calif.) Oaks Christian high school junior Nick Montana (6-3, 186, 4.6) son of legendary signal caller Joe Montana, will line up under center for the Lions on a long anticipated matchup between Oaks Christian and Gardena (Calif.) Serra under a Southern California full moon.

When first saw Montana, he had just arrived from Northern California and was on his third day learning the offense. Still he hit the right guys, on time, reminding those of his famous dad.

Since that seven on seven, Montana has proven he can get the job done in real time, in real games as he has led the Lions to a perfect 13-0 record and a chance for a championship, if they knock off a team in Serra with an equally unblemished record of 13-0.

Montana has completed 119 passes out of 220 attempts (54.1) for 2,170 yards, and 30 touchdowns while throwing only seven interceptions. His junior season performance has seen Montana already garner three offers from Arizona, Stanford and LSU.
