Senior Year figures to be Bennett's Last in Sooner State

No Oklahoma prospect made more of a name for himself in a single game this season than Tulsa Booker T. Washington star athlete Eric Bennett. The 5-foot-10, 175-pound prospect was a well known player prior to his 200-yard and four-touchdown performance in the 5A state championship game but in the short time since has seen his stock soar.

Bennett was perhaps the key element in Booker T.'s return to power after a 24-year hiatus but according to him he was just doing his job.

"The coaches just gave me the ball and just did what I had to do to win a state championship," Bennett said. " I think it was our off-season training and just working hard."

Even before his big showing Bennett already held offers from Oklahoma State as well as Arkansas. The Razorbacks took notice of him after attending a camp in Fayetteville last summer. Though it was an in-person impression that grabbed the attention of Arkansas multiple schools have taken notice of Bennett without such an opportunity.
