Texas QB likes the Ducks

As the Ducks continue to look for quarterbacks, they seem to have found one that likes them in Jacoby Walker from Houston, Texas (6' 21/2", 210, 4.57 hand timed 40). Duck Sports Authority sat down to talk with Walker about football among other things.

"I know they (Oregon) run the spread offense, and I really like their uniforms. The uniforms they wore in the Holliday Bowl vs. Oklahoma State are my favorite," stated Walker.

"Coach Pflugrad came down to my high school to visit a wide receiver from my school (Westfield) but I was not able to talk to him because I was a junior. Later Coach Pflugrad was able to get in touch with me and I was very interested in the program. They showed me a picture of the training facilities, and the indoor field, I was impressed. If Oregon were to offer me a scholarship I would lean toward their program," Walker added.

There is no shortage of schools that would want Walker's athletic ability. "I have written offers from Oklahoma State, Nebraska, and Kansas. I expect Missouri, Illinois and Northwestern, to offer me a scholarship next week," said Walker.
