Four-star DE impressed with UA

Four star defensive end Kaleb Eulls has captured the attention of nearly every major program in the Southeast and the 6-foot-4, 245-pound pass rusher our of Yazoo County (Miss.) is continuing to receive new offers each week.

"I got offers from Tennessee and Georgia last week, which is pretty exciting," said Eulls. "It's always a big deal to get an offer from an SEC school."

Alabama was among the first major programs to offer Eulls a scholarship and now the nation's No. 19 weakside defensive end prospect has the Crimson Tide as one of his early favorites.

"Alabama is definitely a great program," Eulls said. "They've got an incredible coaching staff. They've got players who are not only great athletes but smart athletes as well. I've been reading a lot about how strong the academic program is there and how high their graduation rates are. Alabama is definitely up there in my mind."

"Coach (Bo) Davis is recruiting me for Alabama and he's a really good guy, very easy to talk to. I met him at Junior Day and we talked a lot about what he looks for in a defensive lineman. He also came to my high school to watch my spring game as well. It was cool to see him there."

Eulls said that while Ole Miss and Mississippi State are both programs he's interested in, he's more concerned with finding the right program for him than with staying close to home.

"I'm looking for a school that feels like home, somewhere that I know I'm wanted and that the people around me care about me. If I found a place like that, I wouldn't have any problem leaving the state."

While he isn't ready to name a top five just yet, Eulls said there are a couple of programs standing out to him early on, though he's keeping it a secret for now. Eulls said he plans on taking the summer to improve his game and prepare for what he hopes is a special senior season.

"I'm planning on hitting a few 7-on-7 camps this summer with some of my teammates. Right now all the way through my senior year I'm focused on getting better as a player and helping my teammates succeed. I really all our seniors to have a great last year and I know they are looking to me to be a leader."

Eulls runs a 4.6 40-yard dash and can deadlift 580 pounds. He also boasts a 3.3 GPA and a qualifying score on the ACT.
