Clay is Mr. Oklahoma

When your commitment not only shocks the coaching staffs recruiting you, including the school you committed to, but also to those who know you well it's easy to see why many have doubted the strength of Brennan Clay's commitment to Oklahoma.

The nation's No. 41 prospect from San Diego Scripps Ranch says that most schools may not have taken his commitment all that seriously but the 6-foot, 190-pound running back says that so far no one has been able to sell him on anything that exceeds the opportunity he feels he has in Norman.

"Life is great right now, just living it day by day and I am truly, truly blessed," Clay said. "The day after I committed my e-mail was blowing up, it was on fire. There are a lot of strong-willed coaches that don't stop and never give up.

"They say things like there is a reason for signing day, it's way too early to commit and they never give up. They want to know if they have a chance to get me on campus for an official visit.

"But you know I'm pretty set in stone, I hear them out respectably and keep moving on."
