Bruins stage rare Sunday practice

The Bruins staged a rare Sunday practice and the team continued to show energy and focus as they get ready for Stanford. The Bruin can ill afford any letdowns in practice and will have to pay attention to detail because this Stanford team will be ready when the two teams clash this Saturday at the farm. The Cardinal will be wanting to exact some revenge as UCLA's thrilling victory over them last season derailed them and set Stanford off course.

The Bruin will be extremely tested this week by a hungry Stanford team that is hoping to make a name for themselves at UCLA's expense.

It was good to see UCLA head coach Rick Neuheisel pleased with his team's effort with Sunday's practice.

Neuheisel: "It was a good practice. This is kind of stealing a day of preparation, when you get this kind of day. We will spend a lot of time in the film room as a coaches tomorrow pouring over that Washington tape and then get in earnest on Tuesday. We are looking forward to a great week and it will take that, it will take our best game to go up there and have a chance to beat Stanford. They (Stanford) played very well on Saturday."
