Rivals.com 2010 All-WAC team

Boise State fell one loss short of perfection, but Broncos quarterback Kellen Moore still had a season to remember and is the Rivals.com WAC player of the year.

Moore, a junior, has thrown for 3,506 yards, with 33 touchdowns and just five interceptions. He has guided an offense that averages 519.5 yards and 46.7 points per game. Moore's coordinator, Bryan Harsin, is our WAC coordinator of the year.

The Rivals.com awards
League MVP: Boise State QB Kellen Moore
Offensive MVP: Boise State QB Kellen Moore
Defensive MVP: Nevada DE Dontay Moch
Coach of year: Hawaii's Greg McMackin
Coordinator of year: Boise State offensive coordinator Bryan Harsin
Freshman of year: San Jose State LB Keith Smith
Our coach of the year is Hawaii's Greg McMackin, who guided the Warriors to a surprising 10-3 regular-season record and a portion of the league title along with Boise and Nevada. Hawaii was expected to finish in the middle of the WAC pack but instead shared the conference title.

Nevada defensive end Dontay Moch is our league defensive player of the year. He has 22 tackles for loss, which leads the league, and 8.5 sacks for the Wolf Pack, who handed Boise that one loss.

The freshman of the year is San Jose State linebacker Keith Smith. He is third in the league with 116 tackles and has 14 tackles for loss, four sacks and a fumble recovery. He had five games with double-figure tackles, including a season-high 19 against Utah State.

Of note is that our first-team kick returner, Utah State's Kerwynn Williams, set a FBS single-season record with 1,444 kick-return yards. He broke a one-week-old record in the Aggies' final regular-season game, a loss to Boise State. New Mexico State's Taveon Rogers, our second-team kick returner, had finished the season a week earlier with 1,410 kick-return yards.
