Another Florida - Georgia battle
Though Florida's 2013 recruiting class is shaping up well already, there are still some missing pieces to the puzzle that the Gators would like to fill.
One of those positions is at defensive end where Lawrenceville (Ga.) three-star prospect Antonio Riles is one guy they are targeting to fill that spot.
The 260-pound rising senior currently has Florida and Georgia tied at the top of his leader board despite the fact that he has grown up as a lifelong fan on the home state Bulldogs.
"I was always a Bulldog fan so I kind of always hated Florida," admitted Riles. "But now it's kind of a different story."
One reason as to why his attitude about the Gators has changed is due in part to his relationship with Gators head coach Will Muschamp.
"He's pretty cool guy, I've talked to him on his Facebook and he calls me number 45," Riles explained. "I know with him it's not all about football and he wants to emphasize education and stuff like that."
Despite having two schools at the top right now, he didn't hesitate to mention other schools are still in the running.
"I really have always been interested in Clemson and Tennessee as well, but there's a ton of schools that I'm evaluating that are showing interest in me."
As far as summer plans go, Riles doesn't have much set in stone just yet.
"I plan to go to the one day camp at Bama, coach Kirby Smart wants me to get up there. So I'm going to go with a couple of other kids from Georgia and try to compete there, but other than that I don't really know."
Even though his summer won't be jam packed with visits, he says he doesn't see his decision being too far away.
"I want to get it over with," said Riles. "I don't want it to be a distraction. I plan to make it before the season starts, but if it has to take more time it will."
