Earlier this month, during Warchant.com's Spring Recruiting Tour, three-star wide receiver from Oak Ridge (Orlando, Fla.), Nyqwan Murray said he would commit on the spot if Florida State extended an offer. On Saturday, the three-star prospect got the offer and without hesitation told the coaching staff he was ready to be a Seminole. After talking it over with his grandmother and Jimbo Fisher, he made it official.

During our tour stop at Oak Ridge, Murray explained why he thinks so highly of the Seminoles.

"Jimbo Fisher is a great coach and I see how FSU always puts players in the league," he said. "I feel that would be a great fit for me in how much they throw the ball and develop receivers."

Last season, the 5-foot-10, 164 receiver finished with more than 1,200 yards receiving and 22 touchdowns. His head coach at Oak Ridge, Elijah Williams, feels his rising star that is just scratching the surface with his talent.

"Nyqwan is probably the most pure receiver in Florida that I've seen," Williams said. "Hands, feet, good route runner, understands fitting hole and he can come right in and make an impact. He has a great burst after the catch. He's still just 16 years old and growing. What improved the most (from his freshman season to now)was his football IQ - knowing the adjustments he had to make with each defensive back."

Florida State assistant coaches Lawrence Dawsey and Rick Trickett are Murray's main recruiters. The two FSU assistants stopped by last week to watch him in practice. Other schools that dropped by recently to see Murray include Vanderbilt, South Carolina and Wake Forest.

Murray chose FSU over South Carolina, Central Florida and Virginia. He becomes the tenth commitment for the Seminoles' 2015 recruiting class and the first wide receiver commitment. He is expected to visit FSU in a few weeks.
