At Hargrave: A four star player by Rivals.com and the 34th ranked non-high school player in the country…Anderson is quick off the ball and powerful in stopping the run…also a very effective pass rusher…originally signed with FSU out of Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Fla…missed a majority of the 2002 season with a cracked bone in his ankle, but returned to the starting line up.
Prep: One of the nation's top defensive line prospects…earned All-First Coast Defensive Player of the Year honors…Florida Times-Union's No. 1 rated defensive tackle in Florida…named a Florida Times-Union Preseason Top 11 Pick…SuperPrep's 11th-ranked Florida player…ranked 34th on Orlando Sentinel's Top 100 Florida prospects…SchoolSports' No. 8 defensive tackle… credited with 22 sacks as a senior… recorded 27 sacks as a junior…was a defensive anchor on the District 1-6A champion Mustangs…earned Second Team All-State accolades as a senior…also earned 2001 All-Gridiron Football Dream Team honors as a senior… All-Northeast Florida second team selection as a junior…an athletic lineman who can play interior line or end…has a good combination of size and speed…ran a 4.7 40-yard dash in high school…selected Florida State over Florida, South Carolina, Michigan State and Miami.

At Hargrave: A four star player by Rivals.com and the 36th rated non-high school player in the country…is explosive off the line and will be excellent defensive lineman…returned a kickoff 85 yards for a touchdown.
Prep: Attended Chattahoochee High School in Georgia…interior defensive lineman who combines strength and explosive quickness …SuperPrep's No. 17 defensive tackle from Georgia…recorded 85 tackles and 11 sacks as a senior…also caught eight passes for 150 yards while playing tight end… recorded 70 total tackles and 37 solo stops as a junior …added nine tackles for loss and six quarterback sacks… selected Florida State over Georgia and Louisville.

Alex Boston
6-3, 225, Defensive End
Bartow, FL (Bartow)

A four star player by Rivals.com and the eighth rated weakside defensive end in the country…rated one of Rivals.com Southeast Top 100 and Florida Top 100…a super pass rusher who is very quick off the ball…as a senior, he had 65 tackles and 12 sacks…his junior year he earned All Lakeland Ledge honors after recording 15 sacks…he is also one of the top outfield prospects in the country and has a terrific arm…Team One Baseball ranks him as the No. 72 player in the nation…he may play both sports at Florida State.

Antonio Cromartie
6-3, 200, Cornerback
Tallahassee, FL (Lincoln)

A four star player by Rivals.com and the sixth rated cornerback in the country…Parade All-American as a defensive back…named to the USA Today All-USA first team as USA Today’s Defensive Player of the Year… Rivals.com Southeast Top 100 and Florida Top 100…one of the nation’s top athletes with super combination of size, speed, good hands, explosiveness and is very elusive…as a senior he helped lead Lincoln High School to a 12-1-1 record…on offense, he had 30 receptions for 642 yards and six touchdowns…he also rushed 13 times for 242 yards with three touchdowns…took two kickoffs and two punt returns back for touchdowns on special teams…from his cornerback position he had 53 tackles and six interceptions…helped lead Lincoln to the 4A state championship his junior year as he tallied 63 carries for 586 yards and six touchdowns…also recorded 28 receptions for 483 yards with seven touchdowns…had four interceptions including one returned for a touchdown as a junior…as a forward on his basketball team he averaged 14 points and nine rebounds per game…also competed in track, running the 110M (posting a 14.1 second time) and 4x100…picked Florida State over Florida, Auburn and Michigan.

Chauncey Davis
6-2, 260, Defensive End
Auburndale, FL (Jones JC)

JUCO: A four star player by Rivals.com and rated the No. 11 JUCO player in the country…originally signed with with FSU out of Auburndale High School with the recruiting class of 2001…enrolled at Jones Junior College…as a freshman, he tallied 65 tackles and 12 tackles for loss from his linebacker position…moved back to his natural defensive end position his sophomore year.
Prep: First team all-state class 4A…listed among Max Emfinger's Top 100 players…first team All-American on Rivals.com team…listed among the top 20 national prospects by Rivals…member of Florida Times Union Super 75 and Atlanta Journal Constitutions Super Southern 100…great athlete with a 41-inch vertical jump…played in national all-star game in Dallas…will also play in this summer's CaliFlorida Bowl…rushed for nearly 1,000 yards as a senior.

Clifton Dickson
6-5, 285, Defensive Line
Miami, FL (Northwestern)

A three star player by Rivals.com and the 21st rated defensive tackle in the country… rated one of Rivals.com Southeast Top 100 and Florida Top 100…as a senior he recorded 116 tackles, 21 sacks, three forced fumbles and six fumble recoveries…his Northwestern team lost in the 6A state semifinals to eventual state champion Norland this year…a participant in the 2003 California-Florida Bowl…his junior year he tallied 115 tackles, 21 tackles for loss and 16 sacks as he earned All-County honors…he also scored three TD’s as a fullback…has good size and comes off the ball extremely well…chose Florida State over Miami, Ohio State and NC State.

6-3, 185, Wide Receiver
Quincy, FL (Shanks)

A four star player by Rivals.com and the 15th rated wide-receiver in the country…ranked in Rivals.com Southeast Top 100…also ranked No.27 in Rivals.com Florida Top 100…as a senior, recorded 41 catches for 808 yards and 11 TD’s…made class 2A First Team All-State and was named the class 2A Player of the Year…scored four TD’s in Shanks first round playoff loss to Walton 49-48 (OT)…was selected to play in the 2003 California-Florida Bowl….junior year earned All Conference and All County honors after tallying 29 catches for 585 yards…chose FSU over Florida and Georgia.

Andre Fluellen
6-4, 270, Defensive Line
Cartersville, GA (Cartersville)

A three star player by Rivals.com and the 28th rated defensive tackle in the country…rated to Rivals.com Georgia Top 50…recorded 93 tackles and 11 sacks his senior season…as a junior he had 88 tackles, 10 sacks, six forced fumbles and scored two TD’s…has a 345 lb. bench press, a 495 lb. squat and a 330 lb. power clean…played on both the offensive and defensive lines in high school…brother attends Florida A&M…chose Florida State over Florida.

John Frady
6-4, 275, Offensive Line
Jacksonville, FL (Bolles)

A four star player by Rivals.com and the No. 8 rated offensive guard in the country…rated one of Rivals.com Southeast Top 100 and Florida Top 100…as a senior he recorded 108 pancake blocks from his offensive line position…will most likely play offensive guard in college…a member of the 2002 class 2A state champion Bolles Bulldogs…named All State and All First Coast as a junior.

Chase Goggans
5-9, 160, Kicker
Douglas, GA (Coffee Co.)

A three star player by Rivals.com and named one of Georgia Top 50 players…Goggans is rated the best kicker in the country…had 15 career field goals over 40 yards…as a senior, connected on 14-of-18 FG attempts and was a perfect 17-of-17 on PAT’s…in 2002 he kicked nine field goals over 40 yards, including a career-long 54 yard field goal…he is a three time All-Region selection as a place kicker…he is already enrolled at Florida State.

Mario Henderson
6-7, 330, Offensive Line
Lehigh, FL (Lehigh)

A three star player by Rivals.com and one of the top 40 rated offensive guards in the country…as a senior his squad finished with an 8-3 record and he earned All-District, All-Region and All-County honors…a massive presence on the offensive line…his junior year he sat out after transferring from Bishop Verot High School…on the basketball court he averaged 14 points and 11 rebounds while playing the center position…chose Florida State over Clemson.

Anthony Kelly
6-3, 225, Linebacker
Daytona Beach, FL (Seabreeze)

A three star player by Rivals.com…as a senior he recorded 150 tackles and six sacks…Seabreeze finished the 2002 regular season with a record of 10-1…missed his entire junior year after suffering a knee injury...played linebacker and defensive end in high school…earned first team all-state honors for 3A...chose Florida State over Florida, Syracuse, Central Florida and East Carolina.

Jhermaine McAroy
6-2, 170, Cornerback
Pensacola, FL (Senior)

A three star player by Rivals.com and one of the top 50 cornerbacks in the country…also rated by Rivals.com as one of Florida’s Top 100 players…as a senior, he had 62 tackles, 5 INT’s and did not allow a touchdown all season…he only had six passes completed on him the entire year…as a junior he only allowed three catches from his cornerback position…earned Gatorade Athlete of the Game against Niceville his junior year…a very fast athlete with good coverage skills.

Aubrey McPhadden
6-6, 320, Offensive Line
Jacksonville, FL (First Coast)

A four star player by Rivals.com and the No.7 rated offensive tackle in the country… Rivals.com Dream Team Top 100 nationally…Rivals.com Southeast Top 100 and Florida Top 100…has long arms and very good feet for a player his size…one of the elite offensive lineman in the Southeast and the nation…earned second team All-Area as a junior…transferred to First Coast his senior year from Jackson High School…has a 325 lb. bench press, a 550 lb. squat, a 240 lb. power clean and a 22 inch vertical leap…participated in the 2002 California-Florida Bowl.

Pace, FL (Pace)

A three star player by Rivals.com and the No. 18 rated tight end in the country…rated in the Rivals.com Florida Top 100…senior year he recorded 70 tackles and eight sacks as a defensive end and was named Northwest Florida Player of the Year…as a junior he was All Area after tallying 12 catches for 250 yards…chose Florida State over Florida.

David Overmyer
6-3, 270, Offensive Line
Lilburn, GA (Parkview)

A three star player by Rivals.com and the No. 27 rated offensive tackle in the country…has great footwork for an offensive lineman with long arms and good feet…Parkview won their third straight state title in 2002 and established a Georgia record with 45 straight wins…chose Florida State over Clemson and South Carolina.

Joslin Shaw
5-11, 185, Athlete
Plant City, FL (Plant City)

A three star player by Rivals.com and one of the top 50 athletes in the nation…played running back and defensive back for Plant City…rushed for 1,396 yards his senior season…finished third team All-State in class 5A…a very gifted and elusive runner…could see time at wide receiver...picked Florida State over Iowa State.

Ernie Sims III
6-0, 220, Linebacker
Tallahassee, FL (North Florida Christian)

Thought by most as the No. 1 recruit in the nation…Parade All-American as the top linebacker in the country…five star player by Rivals.com and the No.1 rated inside linebacker in the nation…No.1 rated player in the Southeast by Rivals.com and the No.1 rated player on the Florida Top 100…USA Today All-USA second team as a linebacker…participant in the 2003 California-Florida Bowl where he was showcased as a running back…as a junior led NFC to the class A state championship over Ft. Meade 28-16 as Sims rushed for three touchdowns as the Eagles won their state-record 20th consecutive playoff game.…that made four straight state championship games for him, as he played on the varsity team as an eighth grader…totaled 180 tackles, 41 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and forced seven fumbles from his linebacker position…also had over 600 yards rushing with 17 TD’s…competed in track (200M & 400M) and has posted a time of 10.7 seconds in the 100M…as a senior battled nagging injuries, but still managed 115 carries and 1,081 yards to go along with 23 TD’s…tallied 133 tackles (73 solo), 15 tackles for loss, six forced fumbles,seven fumble recoveries and 1 blocked field goal at linebacker…father Ernie, Jr. played football at Florida State for head coach Bobby Bowden from 1977-78, 1980-81 and his mother, Alice Bennett, ran on Lady Seminole track team from 1980-83.
