Tuesday's Top Tigers

Sign up for your PowerMizzou.com Ultimate Ticket For the first time in 14 years, Missouri fans are looking back on a win over the Kansas State Wildcats. Which Tigers were most responsible for that win? Each Tuesday throughout the season, PowerMizzou.com puts together its list of the 11 best individual performances from the past game. One week has no bearing on the next. Check out our list from the K-State game:

Tuesday's Top Tigers
1 Chase Daniel, QB In that weather, against a defense that had been pretty good all season long, Daniel was simply dominating after the first play. He did whatever he wanted whenever he wanted. 3
2 Adam Spieker, C Snaps have been a problem at times, but they weren't on Saturday. Add on to that that the Tigers ran the ball pretty well and protected Daniel well after the first two series and Spieker deserves to be high on the list. NR
3 Chase Coffman, TE In four years of covering Mizzou, I only remember one catch better than the one Coffman made on Saturday. He scored a touchdown on a play he should have gone down at the three. Kid's incredible. 6
4 Marcus Bacon, LB Yes, we put Bacon above the Big 12 player of the week. He had two sacks and was once again a general menace. He also caused the interception grabbed by Dedrick Harrington. If Bacon's not all-Big 12, it is a crime. 8
5 David Overstreet, S Overstreet led the Tigers with nine tackles, broke up a pass and scored a touchdown. He is the leader of this defense and he will have to be even better this weekend. NR
6 Darnell Terrell, CB Terrell had one interception and had his hands on another. Teams just don't throw at him much, which is the highest compliment you can pay a cornerback. 1
7 William Franklin, WR Every week, you look up and Franklin has five catches for close to 100 yards. The consistency is the major difference and a reason he should get at least second-team all-Big 12. NR
8 Earl Goldsmith, RB Goldsmith is running really well right now, nine yards a carry last week. His versatility has made the screen pass a part of the offense for the first time in forever and he is doing a nice job returning kicks too. 11
9 Mike Cook, OG Cook did not start last week, but he was in on a number of Mizzou's big runs in the second quarter. We had to reward another lineman and Cook was the one we noticed. NR
10 Tommy Saunders, WR Saunders had more catches on Saturday than he had all year before it. He also scored the first touchdown of his career. Teams do not succeed without guys like Saunders. He is not flashy, but he is solid. 5
11 Jeff Wolfert, K Again, he made every kick Pinkel asked him to make. If he keeps doing that, he keeps making the list. 9
