Former Nebraska quarterback Sam Keller was the last player to enter the interview room on Friday. So, unlike some of the other passers, he received very little media attention. That's just fine with Keller. He just wants one team fall in love with him.[details]
The Good: Keller has good accuracy. He has learned to take what a defense gives an offense. He usually delivers the ball with enough touch and timing to give the receiver a chance to gain yardage after the catch. He is quick in the pocket and capable of spreading the ball around to different receivers. He has developed a nice understanding of defenses.
The Bad: Keller lacks the arm strength to deliver a deep pass and must show improvement in that area to compete for playing time in the NFL. He has an awkward motion and occasionally shot-puts the ball. He has limited mobility in the pocket.
Outlook: Keller may be the sleeper of this quarterback class. He has the talent to win a job as a third-string quarterback this fall. He's a possible late-round pick or a free agent.
