It will be another few days before normalcy returns to the Florida State campus, but student-athletes from the Seminoles' football, baseball and men's basketball teams will be doing their part Monday evening to help start that process.

In the wake of Hurricane Irma, which rolled through the state Sunday and Monday, the university is providing a free dinner to students at the Champions Club inside Doak Campbell Stadium from 5:30-8:30 p.m.

According to the university, students also will get the opportunity "to meet and greet student-athlete volunteers from the football, baseball, and men’s basketball teams."

The FSU football team did not play this past weekend against Louisiana-Monroe due to the storm, and the Seminoles' previously scheduled game for this Saturday against Miami has been moved to Oct. 7.

FSU previously announced it had canceled classes through Friday, although many students have remained in student housing.

Monday's dinner is open to any student with a valid FSU ID. Click here for more information from the university.
