Business picked up in a big way this week as the Florida State football team landed a couple of commitments and handed out a slew of offers to recruits for 2021 and beyond.
Here's a complete breakdown of those offers, where the Seminoles stand with each prospect, and what to look for going forward.

The Skinny on FSU offering LB Jaishawn Barham
One day after offering St. Frances defensive end Derrick Moore (see below), the Seminoles made another push at the school by offering linebacker Jaishawn Barham. I've been told the offer was extended by assistant coaches Papuchis and Marve, and I believe he also spoke with head coach Mike Norvell. There is a previous relationship here with Papuchis, who previously coached at Maryland.
Barham is already up to 19 offers so far, including Florida, Maryland, Baylor, Kentucky and Notre Dame. Maryland and Notre Dame likely will be the biggest competition for Florida State on this one, but Barham does plan to see FSU in person this season. And he wants to bring his family on that visit.
Barham is expected to visit other schools in the South as well, once visits are allowed. I do get the impression this was an offer that Barham is very intrigued by. He has previously spoken with Marve back when the assistant coach was at Mississippi State.

The Skinny on FSU offering DE Derrick Moore
FSU is making it clear that it's determined to secure the defensive end position for the future. On Friday, the 'Noles offered Baltimore's Derrick Moore, who is one of the best ends in the country and plays for powerhouse St. Frances.
Even though Moore hasn't visited FSU yet, there is a connection with DEs coach John Papuchis, who previously coached at Maryland. Moore also has a bond with FSU defensive tackles coach Odell Haggins, and both assistant coaches spoke with him on Friday about the offer. Moore doesn't have a leader yet, but schools like FSU, Ohio State, Penn State, Oklahoma and Florida are believed to be the main players currently.
Moore says he wants to attend an FSU game early this season and see what the new-look 'Noles are all about. Getting him on campus would be a huge step, and the 'Noles would love to build a strong relationship with St. Frances for the future.
