"You know, I don’t know about the rest of the team but I am not to focused on it. I am focused on Notre Dame right now. The goal is to beat them and you know the BCS stuff will take care of itself." Rix continued by saying, "It is a good thing to know for now, and hopefully our strength of schedule is helping us out there, but if we don’t win out that doesn’t mean anything. We need to win four more ball games so that is our goal."

"We are very fortunate to be in that position and moving up but that is because we have won seven games. We just have to keep winning ballgames and if we can do that for the rest of the year, our main goal of a National Championship is still within reach, but only if we do that. That is why people are excited, people know that, people know what we are ranked in the polls and especially in the BCS. People around here especially know that but we just need to stay focused and win the rest of our games if we are going to have any chance at getting to the National Championship game."

"Well, they add two dimensions. Obviously, Greg is the big power guy, Lorenzo is the shifty Warrick Dunn type guy, and Leon is a combination of both. He has power, you saw him run guys over on Saturday and he has great moves. So it is definitely great to have those weapons on the offensive side of the ball and being able to use those guys and we have plays designed especially for them to get them the ball. I am fortunate to have them on my side of the ball."

"Now I am not thinking about it, I am thinking about this year and the game. The great opportunity that I have along with the rest of the team, of course, to beat a great football team. That is where the focus is."

"You see that and you think of a team that is having a down year and for Notre Dame standards they are. Despite what kind of record they are having, they are a very talented football team and all we have to do is look at last year. They came up here and embarrassed us. So our goal is to go up there, play our game, and win the ballgame."

"Well, like Coach Bowden said Notre Dame has the most tradition of any football program in America. It is going to be awesome to go up there and see that and be around that atmosphere and actually be playing in that game. I don’t think myself or anyone else will get to wrapped up in that and we need to focus on the task at hand and that is executing and winning the ballgame."

Playing at Notre Dame, and South Bend, Touchdown Jesus, and all that it is a wonderful opportunity. I never thought I would be playing in a game like this at a place like that growing up." he continued "It will be fun to play in a game like that but the main goal is to win the game."
