Rivals100 DB Lytton has 'Noles on top: 'They will be tough to beat'
Rivals100 defensive back AJ Lytton wanted to get the full experience of Florida State University this past weekend, and he certainly got that with his two-day trip to Tallahassee.
FSU already was his dream school, and Lytton said his trip down from Maryland did nothing to change that. As he prepared to return home with his family, the nation's No. 10-ranked cornerback gave the Seminoles very high marks.
"The whole visit was great. It felt like a big family here," Lytton said. "That's the one thing you see immediately on the visit. I felt very at home. I liked how I would be used, and Coach [Charles] Kelly said I can play corner, safety, that's up to me."
Leading up to Lytton's visit to FSU, there was talk that Penn State and Maryland were closing the gap on Florida State when it came to his recruitment. But the Seminoles appear to have asserted themselves once again as his leader.
Lytton said his closest relationship is with FSU assistant coach Odell Haggins, who recruits the Maryland area for the 'Noles, but he said he loved getting to spend time with Jimbo Fisher and the rest of the staff as well.
