Did FSU take the lead for Estopinan

Just a couple of weeks ago when Warchant.com caught up with one of South Florida's top atheletes, Javier Estopinan, he mentioned that Florida State was one of his favorites growing up but now wanted to "beat them". There seemed to be a little frustration on his part since he had not heard from his childhood favorite. That changed this week when Seminole linebackers coach Kevin Steele paid a visit to South Miami Senior High.
The 'Noles' newest coach made quite an impression.

"They are now one of my favorites and I am excited to go to Tallahassee and visit the campus and meet the coaches," he said. "Steele, he told my coach that he was offering a scholarship and would like for me to come up and visit. He also told my head coach that FSU will be losing three linebackers after this season and they need someone to come in and fill the void left behind by those players."
Over the past few weeks the first team All-Dade County linebacker/tight end has been offered by FSU, NC State, Florida and LSU. With the recent offer the Seminoles have taken the lead and may now be the team to beat. NC State is also recruiting him very hard and they are a close second for one of South Florida's top linebackers.
