Florida State head coach Willie Taggart has done it again, landing another "Westside Nole" as Rivals250 athlete Tre'Shaun Harrison of Seattle announced on National Signing Day that he has committed to Florida State.
Harrison was previously committed to Oregon while Taggart was there. That's now three highly rated prospects from the West Coast who are headed to FSU; the four-star Harrison joins four-star tight end Camren McDonald and five-star defensive back Jaiden Woodbey.
Harrison, who is rated the nation's No. 10 wide receiver, has long been connected with Taggart, so he already knew how he would be used in the Seminoles' offense. His official visit, during the final weekend of the recruiting season, gave him a chance to see the campus and meet the other coaches and players.
He chose FSU over Oregon, Utah and others. He officially visited all three.
"I already know the type of offense Coach Taggart wants to run and know he's also a guy that generally cares about you," Harrison said before the visit. "I'm looking forward to me and my family getting a detailed look at FSU."
Harrison helps solidify a major position of need for the 'Noles at receiver. He is considered one of the elite athletes in the country.
