SPRINGFIELD, Mass. -- Five-star senior Moses Brown isn't trying to hide that the recruiting process is staring to wear him down. After scoring 21 points and grabbing six rebounds at last weekend's Hoophall Classic, the seven-footer indicated that his decision could be coming soon.

When pressed to define soon, Brown said that he was thinking before the end of February.

To date, Brown has taken official visits to Louisville (who is out of the picture at this point), Florida State, Maryland and UCLA. Duke and Kentucky have been involved to some extent but Brown said that Wildcats and Blue Devils were "maybe, maybe not" still in the mix.

IN HIS OWN WORDS

Brown discussed the latest Florida State, Maryland and UCLA.

Florida State: "I took a visit in November and I really enjoyed myself on the visit. Coach Ham (Leonard Hamilton) has been keeping in touch with me a lot."

Maryland: "I spoke to their coaches before the game (at Hoophall). They just tell me to go out there and play hard."

UCLA: "UCLA is a really good school, I love their campus. I like the conference that they are in. Just about the same as any other school I'm going go there and develop my game and see if I'm ready for the next level."

RIVALS' REACTION AND WHAT'S NEXT

Though he could have ended things in the early signing period if he wanted to, Brown wanted more time to look into those who had been involved throughout the process and to see what may happen with Kentucky and Duke.

While Brown left open the possibility of taking another visit, it is looking like he'll decide between the Bruins, Terrapins and Seminoles.

As Rivals.com sees things, Florida State and UCLA look like they could be the two edging out front. Brown himself isn't giving any hints on which school may be in front but it sounds like taking the time to watch his finalists play this season and look into things more has him comfortable with moving forward in the process.

"That's really what my whole purpose is with waiting it out," said Brown. "I just wanted to see how they play, honestly. Now I'm pretty certain on what I want to do.

"I feel as if I can play in any system as long as I keep myself open minded and just trust the process."
