Blackman, who is listed at 6-foot-4 and 160 pounds, was reportedly considering West Virginia and Louisville before he received an offer from the Seminoles. He gives FSU two quarterback commitments in the Class of 2017, along with Georgia QB Bailey Hockman.

This has been a busy week for the Seminoles' recruiting efforts, with the commitment on Tuesday of linebacker/defensive end DeMarco Artis.
