Even after the departure of former head coach Jimbo Fisher, Daytona Beach Mainland wide receiver D'Marcus Adams made it clear this week that he's solid in his commitment to Florida State.

The only real question for Adams was whether the Seminoles and new head coach Willie Taggart were still committed to him. And from the sounds of things, everything is full speed ahead.

After a visit during Taggart's trek around the state of Florida this week, Adams had nothing good things to say about his commitment status and the vibes he got from FSU's new head coach.

"He's a good dude, and all he could talk about is getting me up there," Adams said. "He's a pretty laid-back and chill guy. It was a great visit. We had a good time."

Adams said he is very excited about what he's seen from Taggart's offenses at both USF and Oregon. And now that he feels good about his future with the Seminoles, the four-star receiver said he plans to help with FSU's recruiting efforts.
