A process that probably felt like an eternity for Florida State fans is now complete as the Seminoles finally have a full staff of coaches -- and it came just in the nick of time as the 'Noles prepare to host their first big recruiting weekend of January.
This weekend might not be huge in terms of the number of official visits, but it is extremely important for the Seminoles' 2018 class. Here is a breakdown of each visit and a look at what FSU's coaches will hope to accomplish.

The Skinny on WR Jalen Hall & FSU
This is a recruitment that Florida State head coach Willie Taggart has been working on for a while, with Oregon being the main threat in the mix. Hall is a big-time target for the 'Noles because of how his combination of size and quickness. From what we have heard from West Coast sources, Oregon has held the lead in this one, but most of that advantage was gained while Taggart was with the Ducks. We are told the 'Noles have made a strong push, and the vibe coming from the FSU side is that if Hall is comfortable with the players and the culture, there's a good chance he will be in this class. Confidence has been rising from the FSU side on this one. Heading into the visit, we would still give the Ducks the edge, but the 'Noles have closed the gap.
It doesn't hurt that Hall's close friend and FSU commit TE Camren McDonald will also be taking an official visit this weekend. McDonald already has been working on getting Hall to jump on board. We are told that Taggart had a very productive in-home visit with Hall recently, and now the 'Noles just need to make a final push.
