Junior Day Insider: Armour-Davis, Sitkowski high on FSU
Florida State enjoyed an extremely successful first Junior Day this past weekend, picking up a pair of commitments. But more than that, the Seminoles also made strong impressions on a number of key targets who made their way to Tallahassee.
In this Junior Day Insider, we wrap up how things went with several of those top prospects, including QB target Artur Sitkowski and DB Jalyn Armour-Davis.
Rivals250 DB very comfortable with FSU, Kelly
Although he's from the state of Alabama, St. Paul's standout CB Jalyn Armour-Davis said he feels right at home with FSU assistant coach Charles Kelly. The same can also be said for his visit to Florida State this past weekend.
"It was really fun. I've been here before and I loved the visit," Armour-Davis said. "I'm getting more comfortable with Coach Kelly and Coach [Jimbo] Fisher. Florida State has always been high for me. FSU is a place where you feel so comfortable and know it right away, and it's like that every time I'm here."
