The state of Alabama is a big priority in recruiting for Florida State and the momentum isn't slowing down anytime soon. During Saturday's junior day event, Prattville, Ala. junior running back Kamryn Pettway told Jimbo Fisher he was ready to be a Seminole.
"I just got through talking with Coach Fisher and I committed (to Florida State). I committed because this was my first offer and that this is a good spot for me," he said. "I had a lot of interest in FSU before I came down here. Then the couple of games I came down to I liked the environment. He (Coach Fisher) was very happy."
Pettway says he already had his mind made up where he wanted to be and today was simply a formality.
"I had a pretty good idea (coming into the visit) that I was going to commit. The last time I was hear they made me feel like I was at home," added Pettway.
The 6-foot, 220 pound power back becomes FSU's seventh commitment for the 2014 recruiting class.
