Georgia LB firmly committed to Noles

Look for a scouting video on Dan Foster coming later this week
Most recruits need an official visit to solidify their love for a particular school. Dan Foster didn't need

to visit Florida State, but he took it anyway. The longtime Seminole commitment returned from a weekend in Tallahassee still fully committed to the Garnet and Gold.
"Oh yea, oh yea, I'm signing with FSU no question," said an excited Foster. "I have no doubt at all. I know I want it."
The four-star linebacker spent the weekend hosted by freshman Jae Thaxton. The duo hung out with other Seminoles and a few potential recruits. Foster said he noticed the other recruits having a great time, but didn't think (the one uncommitted recruit) had committed over the weekend.
"It was a great trip," said Foster. "I saw the campus, saw the classrooms and the weight room...other things
that I haven't seen before. The city is a lot bigger than I thought. I knew it was the Capital but I didn't realize it was that big."
The Early County standout said he'd love to keep jersey No. 33, but it's already being worn by running back Jamaal Edwards. He says he'll see what he can do but is pretty sure he will have to change numbers when he arrives at Florida State. As for other visits, Foster says he doesn't think he'll take another one.
Foster's commitment to Florida State adds to the family pipeline. His cousin Tay Cody played for the 'Noles and was very happy that his cousin is going to follow in his footsteps.
"Tay is cool with it," said Foster. "He's excited. He said I made the right decision, but the decision was up to me."
As a Junior, Foster recorded 80 tackles and 4 sacks in just eight games before his season was ended by a broken leg. In his senior season he racked up 155 tackles (60 solo) and five sacks and earned all-state honors.
