Hayes is a Seminole

It took a while but Madison County linebacker Geno Hayes is a Seminole. The Parade All-American was scheduled to announce his decision at 1:40 p.m. EST but his mother was delayed arriving to the press conference which resulted in over an hour delay. When asked what school he would be signing with by Madison County head coach Frankie Carroll, Hayes simply said "Florida State."

Hayes becomes the sixth Rivals100 member to sign with the Seminoles.
